JANGJEONGJEONG

DINING

PROJECT STORY

We positioned the kitchen before the dining room.

Dark textures, warm light and the relationship between the open kitchen and seating express the energy of a dining brand inspired by a blacksmith's workshop.

DESIGN RESPONSE

01 · CONDITION

Given conditions

The cooks' movements needed to become the brand's central scene without creating conflicts between kitchen, service and guest circulation.

02 · DECISION

Design decision

We set the kitchen first, based on the cooking sequence and equipment, then calculated the seating and aisles around it. The performance zone and light above the structural beam remained essential through completion.

03 · RESULT

Completed change

Without exposing every process, the heat and focus of the kitchen set the rhythm of the entire dining room.
