Forest light and family life brought together in one home.

We drew the neighbouring forest deep into the house and shaped a sequence of levels and routes where each family member's time can meet naturally.

DESIGN RESPONSE

Given conditions

On a site bordering the forest, the house needed to accommodate both the family's independent time and their life together.

02 · DECISION

Design decision

Large windows draw in the forest and daylight, while the stairs, corridors and dining table form a continuous sequence of family life.

03 · RESULT

Completed change

White exterior walls and warm timber connect the vivid light outside with a calm interior.
