DO'S FLOWER

FLOWER SHOP

PROJECT STORY

The curve of a flower translated into the movement of people and work.

The movement of a flower as it grows and opens continues through the curves of the façade, circulation and fixtures, shaping both the first impression of the small flower shop and its daily workflow.

DESIGN RESPONSE

01 · CONDITION

Given conditions

The long, narrow 43.03㎡ space needed to accommodate sales, consultations, flower preparation, wrapping, washing and storage.

02 · DECISION

Design decision

An open, curved façade and a long worktable organise the space, while warm plaster and stainless steel create a backdrop in which the flowers appear most vivid.

03 · RESULT

Completed change

Work and consultation flow together with ease, while flowers and daylight changing with each season give the shop its expression.
